Dr. Nassif Hitti, Former Representative of League of Arab States. Born in Tripoli, Dr. Hitti undertook his BA and MA in political sciences at the American University of Beirut and his doctorate in International Relations at the University of South California. He is the author of ‘The Theory of International Relations’ and ‘The Arab World and the Five Superpowers: futuristic Study’. He contributes regular articles to Annahar (Lebanon) and Shorouk (Egypt).
Dr. Hitti has also been a visiting professor at the Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies in Malta and a frequent lecturer at several western universities and research centers. He continues to contribute articles to a variety of Arab newspapers, appears on serious political TV programs in addition to regularly attending numerous forums and conferences related to the Middle East, the Mediterranean area and international politics in general.
