Maryam EL Hajbi, Program Manager at the IIJ, attended the second summit organised by FATE (Families Against Terrorism and Extremism) in Gammart, Tunisia from 14 -15 November.

Families Against Terrorism and Extremism (FATE) is a support network for civil society organisations (CSOs), state agencies, individuals and communities to come together to share ideas, experiences and resources around protecting and empowering families against terrorism and radicalisation. The Summit brought together a large number of CSO representatives and CVE practitioners to explore various themes around the role families can play in protecting their communities against radicalisation and to identify their support needs.”
