Son travail actuel consiste \u00e0 concevoir et mettre en \u0153uvre des programmes destin\u00e9s aux praticiens et d\u00e9cideurs en mati\u00e8re de lutte contre le terrorisme en Afrique, au Moyen-Orient, dans la r\u00e9gion Asie-Pacifique et au-del\u00e0. Avant de rejoindre l\u2019IIJ, il a exerc\u00e9 en tant que procureur sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 en lutte contre le terrorisme et les crimes d\u2019atrocit\u00e9 au sein du <em>Complex Casework Group<\/em> (CCG) du <em>Department of Public Prosecutions<\/em> du minist\u00e8re f\u00e9d\u00e9ral de la Justice du Nigeria. Il a \u00e9galement servi comme procureur sp\u00e9cial aupr\u00e8s du gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral du Nigeria au cours de sa premi\u00e8re d\u00e9cennie en tant que praticien du droit priv\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Au niveau international, il a exerc\u00e9 en qualit\u00e9 d\u2019expert juridique externe au Bureau du conseiller juridique (<em>Office of the Legal Advisor \u2013 OLA<\/em>) de l\u2019Agence internationale de l\u2019\u00e9nergie atomique (AIEA). Il a par ailleurs occup\u00e9 diverses fonctions aupr\u00e8s de la Cour p\u00e9nale internationale (CPI), de l\u2019Office des Nations Unies contre la drogue et le crime (ONUDC), de l\u2019\u00c9quipe d\u2019experts des Nations Unies sur l\u2019\u00e9tat de droit et les violences sexuelles en p\u00e9riode de conflit, du Secr\u00e9tariat du Commonwealth, de la Fondation Wayamo, entre autres, intervenant en tant que point focal, membre de groupes de travail d\u2019experts et conf\u00e9rencier sur diff\u00e9rents domaines du droit international.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ancien \u00e9l\u00e8ve de l\u2019IIJ, il est titulaire d\u2019un Master en droit (LL.M.) de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00c9tat de Benue, au Nigeria, avec une sp\u00e9cialisation en droit des institutions internationales et en droit des trait\u00e9s. Il cumule plus de 22 ann\u00e9es d\u2019exp\u00e9rience professionnelle en tant qu\u2019avocat (<em>Barrister and Solicitor<\/em>) inscrit aupr\u00e8s de la Cour supr\u00eame du Nigeria. Son expertise couvre notamment la poursuite d\u2019affaires p\u00e9nales complexes et l\u2019apport d\u2019une assistance technique aux institutions du secteur de la justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>M. Una contribue \u00e0 la coop\u00e9ration r\u00e9gionale et internationale en soutenant le dialogue transfrontalier, l\u2019\u00e9change de connaissances et la diffusion de bonnes pratiques entre les acteurs de la justice p\u00e9nale.
