The IIJ hosted a one-day program for a group of senior Tunisian justice officials on 11 December.  The program involved presentations by Tunisian officials describing their needs, followed by presentations by the UNODC, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM), and the IIJ on what each respective organization could provide to support capacity development for Tunisia.  The group then discussed in detail how each organization could help in the region.  Among  the outputs for the IIJ was the desire of Tunisia to host future IIJ events, an interest in providing Tunisian experts to broaden the list of international experts participating in IIJ programs, and the desire of the Tunisian judicial training institute to work with the IIJ to establish a MOU between the two institutes and support broader programs between judicial training institutes.
