Natalie joined the IIJ in August 2021 as the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Manager. She is responsible for developing, designing and implementing the Institute’s M&E Strategy. Previously, she was a civil servant at the U.S. Department of State, working on various foreign assistance portfolios at the U.S. Embassy Tallinn, the Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration, the Bureau of Counterterrorism, and the Office of Foreign Assistance. Her work in the counter-terrorism field has included countering terrorism financing, rule of law, land border and maritime security in Iraq and the Arabian Peninsula. Natalie holds a degree in Philosophy with a Master of Arts in International Law and Diplomacy (MALD) from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
